I was born in Seoul, South Korea and have lived in various places both in the United States and the world, including South Korea, Southern California, the Chicago area, Mexico and now Iowa. I graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angles with a Master's Degree in Social Work. I was first licensed in California in 1997 and am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Iowa. I have specialized in treating depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, OCD, grief and loss. I believe that emotional well-being lies within each person and as a therapist I will work with you to help you discover your emotional strength and health. I approach my practice and work from the perspective that we are all on a continuous journey of growth and change.
